Chat apps are taking over social media -
800 million on WhatsApp, 700 million on Facebook Messenger, 100 million daily active users on Snapchat. And media companies, including news outlets, are paying attention.Â
Â
In this two-hour evening workshop, Eytan Oren will guide you through this new landscape and explain what strategies and experiments news and media brands are engaging in  to reach these closed networks.
**Tickets are $25**
Eytan is currently a Tow Fellow at Columbia Journalism School, and recently co-authored a short book for news organizations called "Guide To Chat Apps."
